\n Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a highly successful, globally recognised engineering manufacturer to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer for their modern manufacturing facility based in Hoyland, Barnsley.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer renowned for engineering excellence, innovation and investment in its people. You'll play a key role in driving quality improvements across the manufacturing operation, working closely with production teams to resolve issues, prevent recurrence and continually improve quality performance.
\nLocation: Hoyland, Barnsley

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm \n
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm \n
- \n
- Support and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 standards \n
- Investigate manufacturing quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies including 5 Why, Ishikawa and 8D \n
- Drive corrective and preventative actions to eliminate recurring quality concerns \n
- Analyse quality data and provide meaningful reports to support business decisions \n
- Manage containment activities and customer complaint investigations within your areas of responsibility \n
- Promote a proactive, continuous improvement culture across manufacturing \n
- Work closely with production teams to improve processes and reduce defects \n
- Support internal quality audits and continuous compliance activities \n
- Contribute towards improvements across welding, fabrication, machining, assembly and finishing processes \n
We're looking for a proactive Quality Engineer who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively to improve manufacturing performance.
\nYou'll ideally have:

- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification \n
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment \n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings \n
- Experience working within ISO 9001 Quali \n
