Property Solicitor

Join a friendly, growing practice as a Property Solicitor where you’ll manage an existing caseload, own your matters end-to-end, and deliver exceptional client care. You’ll lead on residential & commercial property files from instruction to completion, with opportunities to broaden into landlord and tenant, and refinance/security work. You’ll work closely with supportive colleagues and a modern, cloud-based case management system to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients from diverse backgrounds.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Run a busy, varied residential property caseload from start to finish (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity)
\n
• Progress matters efficiently using a modern cloud-based case management system
\n
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and ancillary documents with precision
\n
• Conduct due diligence, title checks, searches, and report on findings to clients
\n
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties to keep matters on track
\n
• Manage key deadlines, risk, compliance, and file housekeeping to SRA standards
\n
• Support and, where appropriate, lead on commercial property, landlord/tenant, and refinance/security instructions
\n
• Contribute to client development, referrals, and the growth of the department and firm
\n

Requirements

Must-have:

\n
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–3 PQE considered) with strong property experience
\n
• Proven ability to handle residential property matters end-to-end
\n
• Strong technical drafting, attention to detail, and file management discipline
\n
• Excellent communication and client care skills, with a proactive, solutions-led approach
\n
• Competent with cloud-based case management systems and digital workflows
\n

Nice-to-have:

\n
• Exposure to commercial property, landlord and tenant, and refinance/security work
\n
• A following or referrer relationships is advantageous but not essential
\n
• Comfortable in a collaborative, supportive team environment
\n
