Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a successful and growing business in a commercially focused role with real influence.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will become a trusted member of the finance leadership team, taking ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while providing commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making across the business.

This isn't a role focused purely on producing numbers. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, can challenge constructively, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the wider commercial success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
\n
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
\n
• Build and maintain robust financial models and commercial analysis using Excel
\n
• Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
\n
• Support the Finance Director with strategic initiatives and business projects
\n
• Partner with departmental managers to provide financial insight and challenge
\n
• Develop and mentor junior members of the finance team
\n
• Review and strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
\n
• Deliver meaningful reporting to support commercial decision-making
\n

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience operating as a Senior Accountant or as the number two to a Finance Director within a larger organisation
\n
• At least five years' experience in a similar commercial finance role
\n
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification (or be in the final stages of qualification)
\n
