\nA well-established and highly regarded environmental compliance provider is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join its expanding field-based operations team. With over two decades of industry expertise and recognition among the UK's leading water treatment specialists, the organisation delivers high-quality Legionella control, water treatment, and air quality services nationwide.
\nDue to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a competent Risk Assessor to work across a diverse portfolio of sites including residential properties, commercial buildings, educational facilities, care homes, and healthcare environments. The role focuses on delivering UKAS-aligned Legionella Risk Assessments that ensure full regulatory compliance and safeguard public health.

\nBase salary up to £35,000
\nAnnual bonus up to £6,000 (£500 per month)
\nOvertime paid at 30% of project value
\nOn-Target Earnings of £41,000 + additional overtime

\n\n\nKey Responsibilities
\nConduct Legionella Risk Assessments across a broad range of property types
\nEnsure compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 2, BS 8580-1 and associated guidance
\nIdentify and evaluate Legionella risks within water systems
\nProvide clear, practical recommendations for remedial actions
\nLiaise with internal Quality and Compliance teams to maintain reporting standards
\nPromote and maintain high Health & Safety standards on all client sites
\nTravel surrounding areas as required
\n\n\nCandidate Requirements
\nEssential:
\nProven experience within the Water Hygiene sector and/or conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
\nStrong understanding of Legionella risk management and control measures
\nAbility to communicate technical findings clearly to clients
\nSound knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
\nFull UK driving licence
\nCompetent in using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
\n\nDesirable:
\nRecognised Legionella Risk Assessor qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, BOHS, Water Management Society)
\nApplications from experienced assessors without formal certification are welcomed, with support available to achieve relevant qualifications.
\nA DBS check is required for this position.
