Management AccountantLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid)Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Flexible)Reporting to: Finance Manager

We're working with a growing, multi-site business based in Birmingham that is looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a Management Accountant.

This role sits at the heart of the finance team, supporting decision-making through accurate reporting, commercial insight, and ownership of key financial processes.

You'll be joining a business that is scaling, meaning there is strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape processes as the function evolves.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
\n
• Variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership
\n
• Budgeting and forecasting support
\n
• Business partnering with operational teams
\n
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
\n
• Supporting process improvements across finance
\n
• Assisting with audit and year-end reporting
\n

\n
• Excel (advanced level expected)
\n
• ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
\n
• Financial reporting and forecasting tools
\n

\n
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
\n
• Experience producing full sets of management accounts
\n
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
\n
• Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
\n
• Commercial mindset with attention to detail
\n

• Experience in a fast-paced or scaling business
\n
• Exposure to business partnering
\n
• Background in multi-site or product-based environments
\n
