We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality & Compliance Systems Manager to lead our quality assurance, compliance activities, and oversee our HR and Health & Safety functions. This key leadership role is crucial for maintaining high standards of compliance with regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive culture across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

    \n
  • Oversee the establishment, implementation, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • \n
  • Plan and lead effective audit programmes, conduct root-cause analyses for non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance activities are followed and all company policies are maintained.
  • \n
  • Help the organisation assess quality risks and identify the expectations of stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints, supplier quality issues, and third-party certification bodies.
  • \n
  • Track quality metrics and report to senior management to effectively evaluate QMS performance and commitment.
  • \n
  • Oversee the Health and Safety requirements both internally and for our customers.
  • \n
  • Work closely with Senior Management and external consultants to ensure compliant HR policies and processes.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Proven experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Ability to balance business objectives with quality and compliance needs.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to clearly explain quality requirements to different audiences and influence stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Analytical thinker with a process-oriented mindset to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • \n
  • Ability to create concise reports, procedures, and processes.
  • \n
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • \n
  • Full driving licence with willingness to travel on occasions.
  • \n
  • Desirable: ISO 17025:2017 awareness, Internal or Lead Auditor training, H&S experience.
