Immigration Caseworker

Our client based in Folkestone is seeing experienced Immigration Caseworker – IAAS Level 2. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a progressive and supportive immigration law firm.

Salary:£36,100.00 pa

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

30-minute unpaid lunch break

Benefits include 20 days holiday (pro rata), NEST pension scheme (subject to eligibility)

No remote working available

No onsite parking available

The successful Immigration Caseworker will manage a varied caseload across all areas of UK Immigration, including asylum, human rights applications, bail applications, appeals, and judicial review matters.

Immigration Caseworker Requirements

• IAAS/IAAC Level 2 Accreditation (essential)
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK Immigration law and procedures
\n
• Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
\n
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently(c20 cases at a time)
\n
• Professional, detail-oriented and client-focused approach
\n

Immigration Caseworker Key Responsibilities

\n
• Managing immigration cases from instruction to decision
\n
• Preparing and submitting complex immigration applications
\n
• Drafting legal representations and appeal grounds
\n
• Representing clients before the First-tier Tribunal
\n
• Ensuring compliance with SRA, IAAS, UKVI and GDPR regulations
\n
• Maintaining excellent client care and case management standards
