The Role

Barber McLelland are working in partnership with a leading accountancy firm in Doncaster who are looking to appoint an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior Accountant.

The firm are seen as one of the choice employers within the accountancy market in Doncaster, they have excellent training facilities and can provide individuals with a structured and supportive environment to continue their career development.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role of Accounts Semi Senior will work within a highly experienced team and will be responsible for the following:

• Assist with client auditing, forming part of an onsite audit team
\n
• The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
\n
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
\n
• Client bookkeeping
\n
• Preparation of Management Accounts
\n

Skills and Qualities

The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be AAT qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA, individuals must have also developed some experience working within an audit environment. Applications would also be welcome from individuals who have decided not to pursue the formal qualifications route.

Remuneration

• Satrting Salary - £28,000 - £33,000 (depending upon experience)

• Structured internal training in line with study support for ACA/ACCA
\n
• Onsite parking

• 25 Days holiday with the option to purchase 5 days
\n
