\n\nExciting Opportunity as an Industrial Cleaner
\n\nContract: 6 months contracts available (Extension and/or temp to perm is a possibility but not guaranteed)
\n\nRate: £13.10 per hour (+time and a quarter for overtime)
\n\nLocation: Goole
\n\nMonday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:00
\n\nWe have a fantastic new opportunity for a Manufacturing Cleaning Operator with our client, an innovative organisation near Leeds. If you have experience working in a production environment and possess the ability to work with small parts, disassemble, clean, and reassemble them in the correct sequence, this role is for you!
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nAs an Industrial Cleaner, you will report to the Traction Supervisors and ensure the efficient cleaning, preparation, and painting of motors and gearbox components in an industrial manufacturing environment. Your role will involve:
\n\nTimely cleaning of industrial components with the aid of COSHH assessed substances, while working to strict deadlines
\n\nUsing dry ice blasting equipment or industrial wash machines to clean motors, gearboxes, and miscellaneous components
\n\nMoving and preparing materials as necessary to support production activities
\n\nRecycling (and/or reusing) waste/consumable materials as per Company requirements
\n\nTaking responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) by ensuring control measures are in place, supporting the zero harm culture, and actively reporting near misses, accidents/incidents
\n\nParticipating in continuous improvement activities and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the production area
\n\nContributing to quality, cost, and delivery performance targets set by the company
\n\nWhat we're looking for
\n\nTo be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
\n\nExperience in a production environment
\n\nAbility to work with small parts and follow technical instructions and/or diagrams
\n\nPrevious use of power tools, ideally blast machinery for cleaning of surface materials
\n\nAny mechanical knowledge would be beneficial
\n\nPrevious experience as an operator or working in an assembly or manufacturing process would be highly advantageous
\n\nCleaning experience is not necessary as all training will be provided
\n\nPlease note that random Drugs & Alcohol testing is undertaken at the site and a medical and Drug and Alcohol test will need to be passed prior to anyone can start on site.
