Location: Reading (Fully office-based, Monday to Friday)Salary: £35,000 + excellent benefitsHours: 35 hours per week (early finish Fridays)

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-focused Legal Coordinator / Legal Administrator to join a global, well-established business in Reading.

\n

This role sits within a small, collaborative legal function and offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Legal Counsel, supporting on a wide range of contract-related and administrative tasks.

\n

This is not a heavily technical legal role, and full training will be provided. It is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with documentation, and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating the contract lifecycle process from receipt through to signature
  • \n
  • Reviewing, formatting, and preparing contracts such as NDAs and standard agreements
  • \n
  • Ensuring contracts are accurate, compliant, and completed within deadlines
  • \n
  • Supporting the Legal Counsel with document preparation and research tasks
  • \n
  • Maintaining contract databases and ensuring records are kept up to date
  • \n
  • Assisting with company secretarial activities including board packs and documentation
  • \n
  • Managing incoming queries and liaising with internal stakeholders across departments
  • \n
  • Providing general administrative support including filing, tracking, and document control
  • \n

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role (legal experience is beneficial but not essential)
  • \n
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy – this is critical for success in the role
  • \n
  • Highly organised, methodical, and process-driven
  • \n
  • Comfortable working in a role that can involve repetitive tasks and structured processes
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise across teams
  • \n
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
  • \n
  • Able to manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines
  • \n
