\nWe're partnering with a leading provider in the children's services sector to recruit a Regional Training Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on training delivery, driving learning excellence across a diverse regional portfolio.
The Opportunity\nAs Regional Training Manager, you'll lead a team of Learning & Development professionals, ensuring the delivery of engaging, compliant, and high-quality learning programmes. Acting as the senior L&D representative across your region, you'll build strong stakeholder relationships, champion continuous improvement, and support organisational learning initiatives.
\nThis role offers a blend of leadership and delivery responsibilities, with approximately 70% focused on management, quality assurance, and regional oversight and 30% dedicated to training delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development\n- \n
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional L&D professionals. \n
- Conduct regular performance reviews, supervision sessions, and development planning. \n
- Support onboarding and ongoing professional development within the team. \n
- Manage regional resource planning and training allocation. \n

- Monitor and enhance training quality through observations, coaching, and feedback. \n
- Analyse learner feedback and training data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. \n
- Ensure learning delivery aligns with relevant regulatory and industry standards. \n
- Drive innovation in learning methodologies and training practices. \n
- \n
- Partner with operational leaders and regional management teams to identify learning needs. \n
- Collaborate with wider business functions to develop bespoke learning solutions. \n
- Act as the regional point of contact for training-related matters. \n

- Deliver core and specialist learning programmes. \n
- Support operational requirements by providing training cover where needed. \n
- Model engaging, inclusive, and learner-centred facilitation techniques. \n

- Produce regional learning reports and performance insights. \n
- Support audit readiness and regulatory requirements. \n
- Ensure training activities align with company policies and compliance frameworks. \n
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
\nSignificant experience in Learning & Development within Children's Residential Services
\nExperience leading and developing geographically dispersed teams
\nStrong understanding of training quality assurance, evaluation, and continuous improvement
\nKnowledge of regulated environments such as children's services
\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\nData-driven decision-making and reporting capabilities
\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
