Warehouse Supervisor

Are you available immediately for c8 weeks work – immediate start - Warehouse Supervisor with an in-date Counterbalance FL licence

Location: New Hythe, ME20

Rate: £16.50 ph depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Days, either 8am or 9am start time

Job Type: Full-time hours, temporary, PAYE, paid weekly in arrears

Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor Duties will include:

Being responsible for ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and safely, helping to keep the warehouse operations running smoothly every day.

Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor main responsibilities

• Unload, check and receive goods into the warehouse
\n
• Goods in/out
\n
• Pick and pack items for production team
\n
• Operate forklifts (mainly Counterbalance) safely and efficiently – in date licence required
\n
• Carry out stock checks and support inventory audits
\n
• Maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners and PCs
\n
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with safety and hygiene standards
\n
• Work as part of a close-knit logistics team to meet customer deadlines
\n
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
\n
• Forklift experience (in date Counterbalance licence essential)
\n
• Good IT and stock control skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
\n
• Team player with great communication and a can-do attitude
