2+ PQE | Civil Litigation | Bognor Regis, West Sussex

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with at least 2 years’ PQE to join a friendly, well-established and supportive law firm based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

This role offers the chance to manage a broad and interesting civil litigation caseload, with genuine scope to play a key role in the continued growth and development of the litigation department.

The Role

You will be responsible for running your own varied civil and commercial litigation caseload, to include:

\n
• Contract and commercial disputes
\n
• Contentious probate
\n
• Neighbour and property disputes
\n
• Professional negligence claims
\n
• Landlord & Tenant litigation
\n

Matters are handled across a range of forums including:

\n
• County Court proceedings
\n
• Tribunals
\n
• Arbitration
\n
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
\n

You will have autonomy in your role while being supported by an approachable and collaborative team.

About You

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
\n
• Minimum 2 years’ PQE in civil litigation
\n
• Experience managing files with minimal supervision
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and dispute resolution
\n
• Confident providing clear, practical and jargon-free advice to clients
\n
• Proactive, commercially aware and keen to contribute to departmental growth
\n
