Would you like to work Hybrid (3 days office) in the outskirts of Kendal then this new role as Senior Accounts Assistant may be of interest where you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function by producing accurate financial information, overseeing purchase ledger activities and helping to improve financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reporting.
\n
• Investigating budget variances and supporting forecasting activities.
\n
• Overseeing the day-to-day purchase ledger function, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
\n
• Supporting payment runs and maintaining supplier relationships.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and drive efficiencies.
\n

About You The Senior Accounts Assistant will have

\n
• Previous experience as a Senior Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or Management Accounts Assistant.
\n
• AAT Qualified
\n
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
\n
• Excellent Excel and IT skills.
\n
