Automated Gate Engineer (Service & Maintenance)

Glasgow (Field-Based Role)Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Automated Gate Engineer to join a well-established and growing business operating across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. This is a permanent, field-based position offering long-term stability and consistent work.

In this role, you will be responsible for attending customer sites independently, carrying out the maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of automated gates, barriers, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair automated gates
\n
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on-site
\n
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
\n
• Work independently across multiple sites
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
\n
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• Proven experience working with automated gates or similar systems
\n
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
\n
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
\n
• Knowledge of access control systems
\n
