Interim Management Accountant

An experienced Management Accountant is required for a 4–6-month interim contract based in Rotherham. This is a fully office-based role with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
\n
• Variance analysis
\n
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
\n
• KPI reporting
\n
• Supporting the transactional finance function, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
\n
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
\n

This is a hands-on Management Accountant role, offering an immediate start to support the business for approximately 4–6 months, with the potential for an extension.

The role would suit a candidate with proven experience across the responsibilities outlined above, ideally gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
