Management Accountant | Salisbury | Hybrid Working | £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
\nAre you a proactive Management Accountant looking to join a growing business where you can genuinely make an impact?
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with ambitious growth plans. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making and helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function.
\nThis is a varied role offering exposure to management accounting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, process improvements and business projects, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
\nThe Role
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reporting. \n
- Producing journals including accruals, prepayments and depreciation. \n
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register. \n
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management. \n
- Assisting with board reporting and providing insightful financial analysis. \n
- Supporting finance projects, including systems improvements and business growth initiatives. \n
- Overseeing the sales and purchase ledger function with the support of the wider finance team. \n
- Assisting with supplier and contract negotiations. \n
- Coordinating payroll processes alongside the wider finance team. \n
- Building strong relationships across the business and providing financial support to non-finance stakeholders. \n
- Coaching and supporting junior members of the finance team. \n
About You
\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, has excellent attention to detail and is keen to contribute to a collaborative finance team.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role. \n
- Strong month-end and management accounting experience. \n
- Excellent Excel skills. \n
- Experience using Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. \n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information. \n
- Excellent organisational and communication skills. \n
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues would be advantageous. \n
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying would be highly desirable. \n
