Are you an NVQ Level 3 qualified electrician with commercial installation, inspection and testing experience?

\nDue to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our specialist installation team.

This is a varied role combining electrical installation with professional AV, lighting and control systems.
\nYou will carry out high-quality electrical installation work while also working closely with our Project Managers and AV Installation Engineers to deliver complete integrated technology systems.
\nYou will be involved in:
\n- \n
- Installing electrical infrastructure for professional audio, lighting and visual systems \n
- Fitting containment including tray, basket, conduit and trunking \n
- Running, terminating and testing power and data cabling \n
- Installing distribution equipment and electrical supplies for AV systems \n
- Carrying out inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations \n
- Signing off completed electrical works where appropriate \n
- Supporting commissioning, system testing and project handover \n
- Maintaining accurate site documentation \n
- Working safely and efficiently on a range of customer sites \n
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the installation team \n
This is a site-based role involving regular UK travel and working away during the week, giving you the chance to work on a wide range of interesting and prestigious projects.
\nFor the right person, this role offers the opportunity to become our Lead Electrical Engineer and play a key role in developing our in-house electrical capability as the company continues to grow.
About You\nYou are a qualified electrician who takes pride in producing neat, high-quality installations.
\nYou may already have experience in AV, lighting or structured cabling, but this is not essential. What matters most is that you have strong commercial electrical installation experience, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in learning specialist AV and lighting systems.
\nYou will enjoy varied project work, solving technical problems and being part of a team that values quality workmanship.
Essential Requirements\n- \n
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent \n
- AM2 \n
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations \n
- Experience carrying out commercial electrical installations \n
- Experience inspecting and testing electrical installations \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- High standard of workmanship \n
- Good communication skills \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- Willingness to travel and work away during the week \n
- Must be eligible to work in the UK \n
- \n
- ECS Gold Card \n
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent \n
- Experience signing off commercial installations \n
- Experience with AV or lighting installations \n
- Experience with theatre or entertainment lighting \n
- Experience installing structured cabling, including Cat6 or fibre \n
- IPAF \n
- PASMA \n
- Experience working within heritage or listed buildings \n
- Basic networking knowledge \n
