This outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join a highly regarded Private Wealth team at a leading UK law firm. This role is open to experienced Solicitors or Legal Executives with strong expertise in trusts, estates, and tax planning who are seeking to transition into a non-fee earning knowledge-based position.

Based in Exeter with flexible hybrid working, this position offers the chance to move away from fee earning while remaining at the forefront of complex, high-value private client work.You will play a key role in supporting a top-tier team advising high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Provide expert legal knowledge across trusts, tax planning, and estate matters
\n
• Monitor and communicate legal developments, case law updates, and HMRC changes
\n
• Draft, update, and manage legal precedents, templates, and know-how resources
\n
• Deliver internal training, CPD sessions, and legal workshops
\n
• Support business development through technical content, tenders, and articles
\n
• Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (UK qualified)
\n
• Minimum 7+ years’ PQE in Private Client / Private Wealth law
\n
• Strong experience advising HNW and UHNW clients
\n
• Excellent technical knowledge of trusts, estates, and tax planning
\n
• PSL or knowledge management experience beneficial but not essential
\n
• Strong communication and training delivery skills
\n
