Our client is a well-established accountancy practice advising a broad range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients. The firm combines a strong local presence with the support and technical resources of a larger organisation. Working within the audit team, you will support managers and directors with the delivery of a busy client portfolio whilst taking ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion. - Plan, manage and complete audit assignments. \n
- Coordinate audit teams and allocate work across assignments. \n
- Review audit files and provide feedback to junior staff. \n
- Prepare and review statutory accounts. \n
- Identify technical issues and discuss these with senior management. \n
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during assignments. \n
- Monitor budgets, deadlines and work in progress. \n
- Support the training and development of junior colleagues. \n
- Assist with wider advisory and business development work. \n
- Ensure compliance with current auditing and accounting standards. \n
- \n
- ACA or ACCA qualified or nearing qualification. \n
- Strong audit experience within UK accountancy practice. \n
- Experience leading audit assignments. \n
- Comfortable managing client relationships. \n
- Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards. \n
- Previous experience reviewing staff work. \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. \n
- Ideally living in Doncaster or the surrounding area. \n

- Salary £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. \n
