Accounts Payable Team Leader

Our client, based in Erdington, is currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable Team Leader on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start ASAP and the salary is £33,300. This will be an office based role in Erdington.

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting in delivering accounting functions mainly on Accounts Payable and to assist on Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Rent Income and Bank and any other adhoc duties where required
\n
• Line managing one Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable)
\n
• Maintaining robust financial processes, ensuring a strong audit trail for all transactions
\n
• Processing transactions within agreed time scales
\n
• Processing BACS payment runs and other ad hoc payments
\n
• Working with and creating a culture of delivery and process improvement
\n
• Ensuring accuracy in processing of transactional data and good quality process notes for all processes
\n
• Assisting in year-end audit work
\n

Experience required:

\n
• Strong accounts payable background
\n
• Previous position in a team leader/supervisor role
\n

Working hours:
