Job Description
A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join its highly regarded Financial Institutions Group in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal with experience in corporate law to work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions alongside some of the industry's leading lawyers.
\nThe successful Corporate Paralegal will support Partners and Associates on a broad range of banking, finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate matters. This role offers exposure to sophisticated transactions, excellent mentoring and genuine long-term career development within a collaborative and fast-paced international firm.
The Corporate Paralegal's Role\nThe successful Corporate Paralegal will support the team across a wide range of corporate transactions and responsibilities, including:

- Assisting with corporate, finance and transactional matters from instruction through to completion \n
- Conducting legal and corporate due diligence \n
- Reviewing constitutional documents and preparing due diligence reports \n
- Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions and corporate authorisations \n
- Preparing completion checklists, transaction bibles and closing documentation \n
- Managing virtual data rooms and document management throughout transactions \n
- Coordinating Companies House filings, searches and statutory documentation \n
- Assisting with signing and completion processes, including DocuSign execution \n
- Carrying out legal research using Westlaw, Lexis and Practical Law \n
- Liaising with clients, external advisers, notaries and third parties \n
- Preparing corporate profiles, document indexes and transaction records \n
- Supporting fee earners with general case management and administrative tasks \n
The successful Corporate Paralegal will ideally have:

- A Law degree, GDL or LPC with corporate electives \n
- Between one and three years' experience within a Corporate Paralegal or Corporate Legal Assistant role \n
- Previous experience supporting corporate, banking or finance transactions \n
- Knowledge of Companies House filings and corporate procedures \n
- Strong legal research and drafting skills \n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail \n
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills \n
- Experience using legal research platforms, virtual data rooms and document management systems \n
- A proactive, professional and team-focused approach \n

- £25,000 to £30,000 salary \n
