33kV High Voltage Jointer

Your Company:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced 33kV High Voltage Jointer to join a growing engineering business, working in the Stourbridge area and supporting projects across the power distribution and utilities sector.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:\n

• Carrying out jointing and termination works on high-voltage cable systems up to and including 33kV
\n
• Installing, testing and commissioning HV cable systems in accordance with industry standards and client specifications
\n
• Undertaking cable fault-finding and repair activities across HV distribution networks
\n
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures, industry regulations and health & safety requirements
\n
• Reading and interpreting network drawings, schematics and technical documentation
\n
• Liaising with project managers, site supervisors and network operators to coordinate planned works and project activities
\n
• Completing testing records, commissioning documentation and technical reports accurately and efficiently
\n
• Supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and power distribution projects
\n

You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:\n

• Demonstrable experience as a High Voltage Jointer working on networks up to and including 33kV
\n
• Relevant HV jointing authorisations, certifications and competencies
\n
• Strong understanding of high-voltage cable systems, jointing techniques, testing and commissioning procedures
\n
• Previous experience within utility, power distribution or infrastructure environments
\n
• Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively within a team environment
\n
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence
\n
