Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This Vehicle Technician role offers the opportunity to join a well-established, professional team committed to delivering exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services. • Competitive salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience

• 5.5-day working week, Monday to Saturday, with Saturdays on a rota basis

• MOT licence preferred, but not essential, with potential for further career advancement

Duties:\n

\n
• Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
\n
• Perform thorough inspections and accurately identify faults
\n
• Complete complex repairs, including gearboxes, clutches, and timing belts
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with customers
\n
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and health and safety protocols
\n
• Ensure repair quality meets company standards
\n
• Adhere to all safety regulations and workshop procedures
\n

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or Level 2 with significant relevant experience
\n
• Proven experience working within a busy automotive workshop environment
\n
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
\n
• MOT licence is preferred but not essential
\n
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
\n
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
\n
• Good organisational skills and high standards of workmanship
