Accounts Senior

A well-established accountancy practice located in North West London is seeking a Qualified Accounts Senior with approximately 2 years’ post-qualification experience to join their growing team.

The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, personalised service to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive practice where you will work directly with the partners and play a key role in the continued development of the business.

This role is essentially suited to someone with solid practice experience, gained in a UK accountancy firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
\n
• Preparation of management accounts
\n
• Corporation tax and personal tax computations
\n
• Direct client liaison, including responding to queries and providing advice
\n
• Supporting junior team members where required
\n
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, deadlines and internal procedures
\n
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory assignments
\n
• Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
\n

About You:

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified
\n
• Practice experience within a UK accountancy firm - essential
\n
• Experience working on accounts, tax and compliance assignments - essential
\n
• A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
\n
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail
\n
• Confident using CCH and/or Xero (or similar accounting software)
\n
