Audit & Accounts Senior - Independent Accountancy Practice Central London (Hybrid) Up to £50,000 DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly independent firm in their search for a hands on Audit & Accounts Senior to work directly with clients, representing the firm, and supporting the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant looking step into a senior level role across audit and accounts within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 40% audit and 60% accounts splits alongside the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio acting as a direct point of contact. Key Responsibilities

• Assist on leading audits from planning through to completion
\n
• Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio
\n
• Supporting junior staff on audits, providing mentoring and assisting in reviewing their work
\n
• Act as one of the key point of contact for clients
\n
• Represent the firm professionally across client engagements
\n

Key Requirements

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (Only advanced exams remaining)
\n
• Minimum 5 years' experience within UK accountancy practice
\n
• Strong experience across both audit and accounts with experience in leading audits
\n
• Confident managing client relationships
\n
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach
\n
• Experience with IRIS software beneficial
\n
• Must be based in a commutable distance to the offices and have valid Right To Work Status
\n
