Job Description

Post Completions Assistant Location: YorkJob Type: Full-time, Permanent SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in York for a Post Completions Assistant to join their busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a supportive legal environment, assisting with the post-completion stages of residential property transactions. The Role You will be responsible for supporting the conveyancing team with all post-completion matters, ensuring files are accurately finalised and compliant. Key duties include:\n

  • Submitting and managing Land Registry applications
  • \n
  • Dealing with SDLT submissions and returns
  • \n
  • Handling requisitions from HM Land Registry
  • \n
  • Updating case management systems accurately
  • \n
  • Preparing and organising completion documentation
  • \n
  • Liaising with fee earners, clients, and third parties as required
  • \n
  • Ensuring all post-completion tasks are processed in a timely and compliant manner
  • \n
About You The ideal candidate will have:\n

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or post-completions role
  • \n
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • \n
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • \n
  • Good understanding of the conveyancing process (desirable)
  • \n
  • Confident communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • \n
