General Operator - Swindon

About the RoleAsa General Operative, you will support critical manufacturing and production.processes within a regulated environment. This role plays an essential part inensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency while contributing toimpactful work in the life sciences sector.Location: Swindon, UK (On-site - KingfisherDrive)Job Type: Full-time | 12-month contractStart Date: ASAPShift Pattern: Monday-Friday (Early: 7:00-15:00| Late: 15:00-22:45)Pay Rate: £13.86/hour + 22% shift allowanceHours: 37.5 hours per weekOvertime: Available (including weekends)Key Responsibilities

\n
• Gain and maintain Bronze License Badge for production area (Grade C/D) access
\n
• Follow gowning and cleaning procedures for aseptic and non-aseptic areas
\n
• Perform cleaning activities in line with SOPs
\n
• Support materials handling and transfer into classified production areas
\n
• Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are within expiry dates
\n
• Maintain equipment and production areas according to cGMP and regulatory standards
\n
• Operate airlocks and assist with autoclave and part washer processes. (post-training)
\n
• Assist with packaging, labelling, and in-process checks
\n
• Report non-conformances to management or QA teams
\n
• Conduct environmental monitoring (once qualified)
\n
• Ensure accurate documentation in line with data integrity requirements
\n

• Good level of English proficiency

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
