We're recruiting for a PCB Cable Assembler to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be working on high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. As a Cable Assembler, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring excellent workmanship & attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.

You'll be responsible for:

\n
• Assembling PCB & cable assemblies to engineering drawings & work instructions
\n
• Carrying out visual inspections of completed assemblies
\n
• Identifying assembly defects including soldering faults & wiring discrepancies
\n
• Using microscopes, hand tools & measuring equipment
\n
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics & bills of materials
\n
• Recording production & quality documentation accurately
\n
• Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams
\n
• Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards
\n

To be successful in this Cable Assembler role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have:

\n
• Previous experience assembling PCB or cable assemblies
\n
• Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment
\n
• Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams
\n
• Excellent attention to detail
\n
• Good manual dexterity & soldering experience
\n
• Experience using inspection equipment such as microscopes (desirable)
\n
• IPC certification or similar (advantageous)
\n
• A positive attitude & strong team-working skills
\n
