FP&A Analyst

Robert Half are supporting a private equity-backed technology SME in Yate, to recruit a Management Accountant / FP&A Analyst to join at an exciting stage of growth.

This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch opportunity: ideal for someone who wants early ownership and visible impact, not a polished, process-driven finance function.

• £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

The Role:

\n
• Full ownership of transactional finance through to P&L, including invoicing, reconciliations, and journals
\n
• Standard costing, variance analysis, and overhead allocation across projects
\n
• Inventory, stock, and BOM (Bill of Materials) management
\n
• WIP and stock valuation, including physical vs. system stock audits
\n
• Management reporting and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
\n
• Balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset accounting
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n
• ACCA/CIMA finalist, newly qualified or QBE
\n
• Manufacturing or engineering background strongly preferred (BOMs, stock, project costing)
\n
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, process-light environment: someone who builds structure rather than waits for it
\n
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
\n
• Confident communicating financial data to non-finance colleagues
\n
• Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office 365 advantageous
\n
