Payroll & Pensions SpecialistLocation: Ipswich HybridHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: £28k-£32k doe We are seeking for an experienced Payroll & Pensions Specialist to join our friendly and professional Payroll and Pensions team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality payroll and pension services to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of end-to-end monthly payrolls
\n
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines
\n
• Administer pension processing including Auto Enrolment, AVCs, Local Government and Teacher Pension Schemes.
\n
• Process pension joiners, leavers, transfers, retirements, and in-service changes
\n
• Reconcile payroll and pension data and produce accurate reports
\n
• Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, finance teams, and other stakeholders
\n
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll and pension queries
\n
• Support audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
\n

About You

\n
• Proven experience in payroll processing and pension administration
\n
• Strong knowledge of LGPS and Teachers' Pension Scheme (highly desirable)
\n
• Experience using payroll systems (iTrent knowledge highly desirable)
\n
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
\n
• High attention to detail and strong Excel skills
\n
• CIPP qualification (desirable)
