Join our friendly and busy GP surgery as a Care Navigator / Reception Team Leader. We are looking for a confident and approachable individual to support our afternoon reception team. This role is ideal for someone who is patient-focused and ready to step into a leadership role.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the afternoon reception operations, ensuring efficient and effective patient service.
\n
• Lead and support the reception team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
\n
• Handle patient inquiries with a calm and patient-focused approach.
\n
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and care navigation.
\n
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient records with high attention to detail.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• GP surgery or healthcare reception experience is preferable but not essential.
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
\n
• A calm, patient-focused approach to handling inquiries and issues.
\n
• Confidence to lead or step into a leadership role.
\n
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
\n
