As the business continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead their regulatory function, ensuring governance frameworks remain robust while supporting the commercial success and continued growth of the organisation. The successful candidate will become a key member of the senior leadership function, taking ownership of the organisation's compliance strategy and acting as the primary point of contact for regulatory matters. This is an outstanding opportunity to influence business-wide governance, risk management and regulatory best practice within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.Your Roles and Responsibilities:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:\n

- Leading and overseeing the organisation's compliance framework, ensuring adherence to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, GDPR and wider insurance legislation \n
- Acting as the principal liaison with regulatory bodies, including the FCA, ICO and other external stakeholders \n
- Monitoring regulatory developments and implementing changes to policies, procedures and internal controls where required \n
- Developing, managing and reporting against the organisation's Compliance Plan, providing regular updates to senior leadership \n
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of regulatory returns, applications and mandatory reporting requirements \n
- Managing complaints governance processes, ensuring appropriate investigation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented \n
- Supporting enterprise-wide risk management activities, maintaining risk registers and conflict of interest records \n
- Leading compliance audits across the business, ensuring internal quality standards and regulatory requirements are consistently achieved \n
- Providing expert guidance on insurance policy wording, regulatory documentation and customer communications \n
- Overseeing GDPR compliance, including the management of potential data breaches and data protection processes \n
- Managing compliance training initiatives and supporting colleagues in understanding their regulatory responsibilities \n
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across finance, technology, operations, sales and customer service functions to embed a culture of compliance throughout the organisation \n
- Reviewing third-party suppliers and contractual arrangements to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance \n
- Promoting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen governance, reduce risk and enhance operational effectiveness \n
