The company: A leading international food manufacturer serving retailers, distributors and foodservice partners in international markets

Main duties: An exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and expand distribution across Germany by developing strategic partnerships, managing key distributors and identifying new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.

The role:

- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth across Germany

- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers and key trade partners

- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, consumer insights and competitor research

- Drive distribution expansion and increase market presence across mainstream retail channels

- Lead, coach and support field sales teams to deliver objectives and achieve sales targets

- Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to execute effective go-to-market strategies to optimise product offerings

- Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management

- Manage business development budgets and support forecasting, planning and international travel to customers and partners as required

The candidate:

- Fluent in German (written and spoken) essential

- Experience in FMCG sales or business development, with a strong focus on the German market required

- A proven track record of delivering sales growth through distributor, wholesale or retail channels

-- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data

- Proactive, organised and the ability to work independently

- Passion for food and the food industry

- Able to travel to Germany when needed
