\nThe Opportunity
\nWe are working with a well-established, fast-growing UK business to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their head office function in Colchester.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Support end-to-end payroll processing• Check and validate starters, leavers and payroll changes (salary, bonus, commission)• Produce and analyse payroll and benefits reports• Maintain payroll records, spreadsheets and databases• Handle employee queries relating to pay and benefits professionally• Ensure compliance with tax, NI, pensions and statutory payments• Support administration of employee benefits (pensions, healthcare, flexible benefits)• Assist with ad hoc reporting and payroll tasks
\nWhat We’re Looking For
\n• Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience• Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements• Experience calculating SSP, SMP, SPP etc.• Intermediate Excel skills• High attention to detail and accuracy• Strong communication and customer service approach• Able to commute to Colchester
