\nThe Role
\nAs a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and overhaul of AC/DC motors and associated equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding skills and a solid mechanical and electrical background.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Service, repair, and rewind AC/DC electric motors \n
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults effectively \n
- Strip, inspect, and rebuild motors and rotating equipment \n
- Carry out testing to ensure performance and reliability \n
- Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications \n
- Maintain accurate job records and ensure high-quality standards \n
- Adhere to workshop health & safety procedures \n
Requirements

- Proven experience working with AC/DC motors in a workshop environment \n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills \n
- Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge \n
- Experience with motor rewinding (desirable but not essential) \n
- Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams \n
- Self-motivated, reliable, and quality-focused \n
