We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Lending team, providing direct support to fee earners to enhance operational efficiency. This role is ideal for individuals with a legal background in Lending/Property, looking to contribute to a dynamic team.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Prepare correspondence and documents, possibly from digital dictation, and manage filing systems including the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files. \n
- Administer daily filing and handle mail and enclosures for dispatch. \n
- Arrange copying, meetings, and maintain up-to-date diaries for fee earners. \n
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings, providing refreshments and clearing the room post-meeting. \n
- Attend to clients and agents in person and via telephone in a professional manner, updating and chasing for information as needed. \n
- Assist with completion statements, post-exchange, and pre-completion formalities. \n
- Handle online form submissions including SDLT forms and submit Land Registry forms. \n
- Obtain information from local authorities and manage registration and post-completion formalities. \n
- Engage in marketing and other non-core activities to support the department’s broader goals. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Legal background with experience in Lending/Property. \n
- Proficient IT skills in relevant software packages. \n
- High accuracy levels and good work production matching fee earners' pace. \n
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \n
- Proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively. \n
- Demonstrates good customer care, responsiveness, and attention to client service. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Commitment to self-development and willingness to engage in training and development activities. \n
Desirable Skills:

- Experience with Practice Evolve or other case management systems. \n
- Broad knowledge of law/legal practices. \n
