Gleeson Recruitment Group is partnering with a large international organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant into its growing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified, finalist, or newly qualified accountant looking to build their technical accounting experience within a complex multi-entity environment. You'll gain exposure to financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit, controls, and process improvement while working closely with senior finance stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the month-end close process
\n
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting and analysis.
\n
• Maintaining fixed asset accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
\n
• Supporting statutory accounts preparation and year-end audits.
\n
• Assisting with VAT and wider compliance requirements.
\n
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting accuracy.
\n
• Supporting finance transformation and systems improvement projects.
\n

About You

\n
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified and actively studying
\n
• Experience within Financial Accounting, Audit, Reporting or Record-to-Report.
\n
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
\n
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
\n
