Noise-Induced Hearing Loss Fee Earner

\nSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
\nAbout the Role

- We're looking for an experienced Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) Fee Earner to join our growing Industrial Disease team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven NIHL experience who enjoys managing their own caseload while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. \n
- You'll handle claimant NIHL cases from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation, working within a supportive team focused on quality, efficiency, and client care. \n
What You'll Be Doing

- Manage your own caseload of NIHL claims from inception through to conclusion. \n
- Assess liability and quantum using medical evidence, audiograms, and employment records. \n
- Instruct and liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other third parties. \n
- Draft legal correspondence, witness statements, and settlement documentation. \n
- Negotiate settlements with defendants and insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes. \n
- Ensure compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant pre-action protocols. \n
- Maintain accurate case records and proactively manage deadlines. \n
- Deliver excellent client service through regular communication and case updates. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Previous experience managing Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims. \n
- A solid understanding of industrial disease litigation and the NIHL claims process. \n
- Experience handling your own litigated or pre-litigated caseload. \n
- Confidence interpreting medical and audiology evidence. \n
- Strong negotiation and communication skills. \n
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities. \n
