THE ROLE

This is a newly-created senior, high-visibility position spanning strategic financial planning, tax, commercial analysis and business partnering across a diverse property portfolio. It's a role for a commercially minded finance professional who is equally comfortable in the technical detail of tax and debt structuring as they are presenting to shareholders and lenders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner across the business to assess financial and asset performance, investment returns, business cases and risk
  • \n
  • Lead budget modelling, scenario planning and broader commercial analysis, developing new insight and analysis tools
  • \n
  • Lead tax planning initiatives, corporate restructurings and transaction-related work, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements
  • \n
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the group's tax position, identifying efficiencies and mitigating risk
  • \n
  • Act as a key finance contact for shareholders, lenders and strategic partners
  • \n
  • Prepare shareholder reporting packs and respond to ad-hoc information requests
  • \n
  • Contribute to strategic direction, identifying opportunities for value creation and supporting capital allocation decisions
  • \n
  • Lead debt modelling, covenant monitoring and forecasting
  • \n
  • Support capital raises and corporate transactions with financial information and due diligence
  • \n

ABOUT YOU

\n
    \n
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with strong (c5 years’ plus) post-qualification experience gained in industry – however a talented, intelligent individual from a top practice firm who has tax experience will also be considered
  • \n
  • Track record in tax planning and corporate transactions; CTA and prior restructuring experience is a strong plus
  • \n
  • Experience engaging with lenders and overseeing debt covenants or financing arrangements
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling and investment analysis capability
  • \n
  • Confidence managing shareholder or C-Suite relationships and reporting
  • \n
  • Experience working across multiple business lines
  • \n
  • Investment, private equity, family office or similar investment-led sector background advantageous, although not essential
  • \n
