Part Time Management Accountant

Part Time Management Accountant | Nottinghamshire | £200 -£250 per day (umbrella) | 3 days on site

An established, family-owned business is looking for a Part Time Management Accountant to take ownership of financial control and reporting, with genuine scope to grow the role over time. This is a chance to join a stable and established finance team and become a key part of a business with a strong local reputation.

What you'll be doing

• Taking full ownership of financial control and reporting, from bookkeeping through to management accounts
\n
• Producing monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and trend reporting
\n
• Managing high-volume daily transactions alongside occasional higher-value sales
\n
• Building and maintaining cash flow forecasts
\n
• Overseeing statutory and insurance reporting, VAT and digital tax compliance
\n
• Leading year-end and audit processes
\n
• Managing and developing a team of three accounts staff
\n

What we're looking for

\n
• Solid experience in a management accounting role, ideally with previous line management experience
\n
• ACCA/CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience — we're open on qualification route
\n
• Comfortable working across high transaction volumes and varied invoice values
\n
• Retail, automotive or dealership background is a bonus but not essential
\n
• A confident, adaptable people manager who brings good energy to an established team
\n
