Working closely with managers and partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services while building strong relationships with clients across a range of industries.Key responsibilities as the Senior Accountant:\n

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
\n
• Producing management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
\n
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted point of contact.
\n
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
\n
• Liaising with HMRC and responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.
\n

To be considered for this Senior Accountant role:\n

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience will also be considered).
\n
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax principles.
\n
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client relationships.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
\n
• Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
\n
