Job Description

An excellent opportunity has become available for a permanent Financial Reporting Accountant to join a market leading international pharmaceutical business who have experienced year on year growth. Based on growth plans for the next 3-5 years the company is looking to strengthen their team with a Qualified Financial Reporting Accountant who will take ownership of:

  • Audits- full accountability for consolidations, financial statement preparation, and reporting processes.
  • \n
  • Preparing and finalising consolidated financial statements and disclosures, ensuring full IFRS compliance and high-quality reporting
  • \n
  • Provided technical accounting leadership across complex areas and supporting accurate financial reporting
  • \n
  • Challenge group reporting packs, accounting policies, and disclosures
  • \n
  • Manage statutory reporting and end to end audit process by resolving technical accounting issues and to meet reporting deadlines
  • \n
  • Deliver clear, concise financial insights to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making to ensure adherence to relevant business and systems controls
  • \n
  • Support the wider Finance function in the external reporting of half-year and year-end financial results.
  • \n

Skills and experience required:

\n
    \n
  • Fully Qualified Accountant with a strong interest in reporting and technical accounting.
  • \n
  • Proven track record in company reporting, consolidation and internal financial controls.
  • \n
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to improve processes as well and interrogate and interpret data.
  • \n
  • Proactive with the ability to influence decision making and build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • \n
