Job Description
We are looking to recruit warm, flexible, and motivated Female Support Workers to provide person-centred support to people with learning disabilities living at our bespoke development in Warwick.
\nOur service is a large, modern building consisting of 15 flats. It provides Supported Living opportunities for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and autism. We take pride in offering unique and individualized person-centred active support services that are stimulating, enjoyable, and motivational. Our goal is to help individuals explore life opportunities, build and develop their unique skills, promote choice and independence and achieve what matters most to them.
\nAs a Support Worker, you’ll bring a passion for promoting active involvement and communication, ensuring every day is a good day for our service users living in the Warwick area. Every day will be unique, filled with a variety of activities such as baking, listening to music, walking and more.
\nYour responsibilities will include providing respectful personal care and assisting with domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning, engaging with service users to build trusting therapeutic relationships, and encouraging wellbeing and positive coping skills. You will offer support to service users in their own homes or other settings, as part of a structured approach, providing respite to carers, and offering practical and emotional support to families where appropriate.
\nPossession of a full UK manual driving licence is an essential requirement of this role.
