We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Residential Property team, providing direct support to fee earners to enhance operational efficiency and client service.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

    \n
  • Provide general support to the Residential Property team, including preparing correspondence and legal documents.
  • \n
  • Manage client files effectively, adhering to internal procedures for opening, closing, storage, retrieval, and filing.
  • \n
  • Handle administrative tasks such as arranging document copying, managing diaries, and setting up meetings.
  • \n
  • Welcome and assist clients and agents both in person and by telephone, providing updates and assisting in progressing transactions.
  • \n
  • Prepare completion statements and handle pre-completion and post-exchange formalities.
  • \n
  • Complete online forms, including SDLT submissions, and prepare and submit Land Registry applications.
  • \n
  • Obtain information from local authorities and handle registration requirements and post-completion matters.
  • \n
  • Support departmental marketing initiatives and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and organisational information.
  • \n
  • Utilise the firm’s case management system effectively and maintain high standards of document production.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Law graduate or working towards qualification through a recognised Paralegal route, supported by relevant legal experience.
  • \n
  • Experience in residential property is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in case management systems.
  • \n
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to workload management.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
  • \n
  • High levels of professionalism, courtesy, and respect in all interactions.
  • \n
