Finance Business Partner

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with an exciting business in Skipton as they look to recruit an experienced accountant to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a brilliant company who already have a market leading reputation. Having grown by almost 30% over the last two years to a predicted turnover this year of £40m, they have further plans already in action, so this is a great time to join them and have a direct impact on how the company navigate this interesting and exciting chapter.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance team with key responsibilities including:

• Financial business partner to a number of departments
\n
• Providing Senior Leadership with meaningful MI to influence strategic decision making
\n
• Working with Senior Leadership to drive projects across the business
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
\n
• Reviewing cost analysis and preparation of reports for the senior leadership team to influence commercial/strategic decision making
\n
• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack, working closely with the FC
\n
• Balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variance analysis against budget
\n
• Oversee the Assistant Accountant and support the transactional finance team as required
\n
• Be involved in a variety of projects across the business
\n

• Applicants must have advanced Excel skills
\n
• A desire to improve systems and processes
\n
• The ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business is essential
\n
• Hold an accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience
\n
