Job title:Inventory CheckerJob location:BasildonRate:£15.64Overtime AvailableHours per week:37Duration:12 month FTC - (Opportunity to go perm)Start date:ASAPClient Summary:A leading, well recognised global manufacturer of Agricultural machineryPosition Summary:Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of manufacturing inventory, identifying andreporting variances, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.Roles can include:* Perform daily cycle counts of inventory in designated areas.* Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records in WMS (AS400).* Investigate discrepancies and document findings.* Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances.* Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.* Identify and document damaged or misplaced products found during counts.* Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve inventory issues.Person Profile/Experience:* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.* Strong numeracy and analytical skills.* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying, walking,standing, twisting, kneeling, and bending for up to 9 hours per shift.* Ability to distinguish basic colours and shades for inventory coding purposes.* Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Excel and MS Access.* Fluent in both written and spoken English.* Good attendance and punctualityQualifications:Driving LicenceContact Information: James BellEmail:
