Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Senior Manager Financial Reporting on behalf of an exciting and growing business within the media sector. Working closely with a dynamic and highly regarded Finance Director, you will play a key role in leading the financial reporting function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and compliance across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
\n
• Prepare and review statutory accounts.
\n
• Manage the year-end audit and external auditor relationships.
\n
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
\n
• Drive improvements to financial reporting processes and controls.
\n
• Support key business and strategic initiatives.
\n
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
\n
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
\n

Requirements:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential.

You will also have:

• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
\n
• Experience within a medium to large business environment.
\n
• Previous people management experience.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• A proactive and hands-on approach.
\n
