Wigan Salary: Up to £29,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established and growing law firm in Wigan is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate with some litigation experience. However, strong law graduates with a genuine interest in litigation are also encouraged to apply, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload of commercial litigation matters while working within a structured support system. You will be paired with a senior team member who will provide mentoring, guidance and assistance with professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision
\n
• Working closely with a senior mentor to support ongoing learning and development
\n
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documents
\n
• Conducting legal research
\n
• Liaising with clients, courts and third parties
\n
• Monitoring deadlines and ensuring procedural compliance
\n
• Delivering a high standard of client service throughout each matter
\n

About You

The firm is keen to hear from individuals who:

• Have previous litigation experience, ideally within a legal environment, or are law graduates with a strong interest in litigation
\n
• Are organised, proactive and confident in managing their workload
\n
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

• Enjoy taking responsibility and working collaboratively within a team

Previous commercial litigation experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be available.
