Finance Reporting AnalystAccounts Payable background beneficialThis is a great opportunity for a data-driven, analytically-minded professional to provide reporting and analytical support to a transactional finance function - reviewing processes, building out reporting, and helping shape how the function operates day-to-day. You won't just be producing numbers; you'll be helping the wider team understand them, work with them, and use them to drive genuine improvement. This role would suit someone who's already got a taste for analytics and data, and is looking to build on it. Maybe you're passionate about automation and process improvement, keen to develop your skills in tools like Power BI, and enjoy the reporting side of finance just as much as the communication side — explaining findings clearly and helping others understand how to make improvements. A background in a transactional finance environment would help you understand the processes you're reviewing, but this is very much a role for someone who wants to lean into the analytical and commercial side of the job.What you will be doing\n

• Providing reporting and analytical support to a transactional finance function
\n
• Reviewing existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
\n
• Building and maintaining reports and dashboards (Power BI experience beneficial, or an interest in developing it)
\n
• Identifying opportunities for automation and driving process improvement initiatives
\n
• Analysing data to uncover trends, inconsistencies, and root causes of inefficiencies
\n
• Working closely with stakeholders to communicate findings clearly and support them in implementing changes
\n
• Producing clear, actionable insights and recommendations for the wider finance function
\n
• Supporting the team in shaping how day-to-day processes are run
\n

What we need from you\n

• A genuine passion for data, analytics, and process improvement

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge data
\n
• Confident communicator who can explain findings clearly and help others understand and act on them

• An interest in developing skills in reporting tools such as Power BI

• Exposure to a transactional finance environment would be helpful in understanding the processes involved, but is not essential
\n
• Naturally curious — someone who looks beyond the numbers to understand root causes
\n
• Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
